The post 'Bigg Boss' days, many producers and directors have made a beeline for Oviya to capitalize on her new found fame.  Movies like 'Tamil Padam2', 'Kalavani2' and 'Kalakalappu2' were rumored to star the "Shutup Pannunga" star as the leading lady but nothing materialised with some complaining that she is too pricey.

The latest from Oviya is that she has signed on to play the female lead in a new movie titled 'Pallu Padaama Paathukka' directed by Vijay Varadaraj who is popular on the YouTube based Temple Monkeys show.  The genre is said to be a horror cum adult comedy.  More details on this one as soon as we have them.
