Veteran director P. Vasu has given many super hits in his career spanning three decades. He has made films in all the four South Indian languages and he has worked with almost all top stars. As far as Tamil films are concerned he has worked with Rajinikanth, Vijayakanth, Sathyaraj, Prabhu, Karthi, Sarathkumar, Arjun, Bhagyaraj, Ajith, Raghava Lawrence and many others. But he has not done a film with Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan.

Vasu's son and actor Sakthivel Vasu who is currently in the Big Boss house claimed that his father has never worked with Kamal Haasan but he is an ardent fan of the Ulaganayagan. He changed his name as Sakthivel only because Kamal's character name in 'Nayagan' is Velu and it is Sakthi in 'Devar Magan'.

Now inn an exclusive interview to IndiaGlitz, the 'Chandramukhi' director revealed that he was about to direct a film with Kamal Haasan before the latter took up 'Dasavatharam'.

"I narrated a script to Kamal Haasan in which he had three roles to play. He liked the script very much and was keen to do the film. But since he was planning 'Dasavatharam' at that time which had multiple roles he felt doing another multiple role film immediately would not be good. So the idea was postponed and after that I have not talked with him about that."

It is to be noted that Vasu acted in an important role in 'Dasavatharam' which turned out to be a huge blockbuster.
