Raising to the peak from Kannada superstar Dr Vishnuvardhana’s ‘Aptha Mithra’ Kannada and Tamil super star Rajinikanth’s ‘Chandramukhi’ has just completed the Kannada film again starring Dr Vishnuvardhana titled ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ the 200th film of Kannada superstar.

Speaking to this correspondent exclusively on the sets of ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ at Eagle Ton Club near Bidadi that is situated 35 kilometers away from Bangalore the successful director P Vasu disclosed he is picking a Hindi film next. It will be a multi star cast Hindi film and after this he is likely to take up a film starring Ulaganayakan Dr Kamal Haasan.

The Hindi film ‘Bhool Bhalaya’ a remake of ‘Aptha Mithra’ and ‘Chandramukhi’ came to me but it did not work out for me says Vasu. He has the intentions of taking the Kannada film ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ to other languages.

Speaking on the contents of ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ P Vasu stated this is not a sequel story but based on ‘Mantra and Mathre’ (hymns and medicine) made with lot of difficulty and different in its narration. The possibilities handled in this cinema are bound to be there in every family.

Every Kannada film success counts for me in other languages. This is what I have understood after ‘Aptha Mithra’. A film made in Kannada and found it to be successful a technician is the winner at the national level. In Karnataka the Kannada film faces a stiff battle against all languages. To gain attention and see box office success if a challenge for anyone he opines.

‘Aptha Mithra’ was started there was no expectation but now the expectations for ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ are bound to be high and that is the reason I keep a low profile for this film says Vasu. Confidence is in tact and all elements and surprises of a commercial film is part of this film. There is light sentiment, hilarious comedy, thrills and five songs says P Vasu.
