The popular comedy hero of Kannada cinema Komal Kumar got the right title what he wanted and the title that suits him. That is ‘Pyaarge Ag Butaithe’ (PAB) a remake of Marathi film ‘Mumbai Poona Mumbai’ – made in Telugu and Tamil by Kevin Bala. He is on a hat trick in directing for the third time. He is also roping in two others who worked for his Telugu and Tamil – cameraman Bala Bharani and music director Dharma Teja.

The film by Rakshit Films Smt Shoba Prakash as producer went on the floor at Kadu Malleshwara Temple in the busy Malleswaram locality of Bangalore.

Non Kannada director Kevin Bala speaking a written speech in Kannada was appreciable. He lived up to the theory of ‘Be a Roman when you are in Rome’. The only grouse is that he has taken credit for the story but it is a remake of Marathi film that was made in Telugu and Tamil. It is a thoroughly changed to the earlier versions he argues but taking credit for borrowed these is what not acceptable.

Earlier the film title was kept as ‘Love Ge Agbuttaithe’ as someone registered it as ‘Pyaar Ge agbutaithe’. As the song line of ‘Govindayanamaha’ got me good mileage I thought of asking it for my film. It clicked he says with smile. More than that the Love and arranged marriage concept in the film aptly suits the subject of Marathi play says sensational star Komal Kumar.

Kevin Bala roping in actors like Satyajith, Anand, Ravindranath, Honnavalli Krishna and others. He is shooting in Bangalore, Mysore, Sakleshpur, Kasargod and other places. It is a love fantasy and Komal Kumar aptly suits he says.

Prarthana spotted from a dance program by Kevin Bala is making foray in to Kannada cinema. She studied in Mount Carmel College in Bangalore and has experience in dance.

From historical film ‘KVSR’ dialogues to comedy film Keshavaditya has prepared good funny lines to suit this film. It is a one day happening cinema. Dharma Teja is scoring music and he is picking two original tunes and making two more. This is his third Kannada movie. Abhimani and Central Jail are his other films in Kannada. Balabharani is cameraman.

Shoba Prakash is looking after production. Her husband Prakash in the past produced ‘Hendthigelbedi’ Kannada cinema.
