One of the most talented actress of the south, Padmapriya seems to be much happy with her accomplishments, this month. She definitely has the reasons to be so as her two projects were rated as the best of the year, this month. The first is the case of Malayalam movie ‘Pazhassi Raja’, which is emerging as the biggest hits of recent times. More than its commercial success, Padmapriya is widely applauded for the meticulous performance in the movie as Neeli, the leader of the Krurichiyar tribes. She was also specially noted in war and fighting scenes where she has displayed much calibre.

The second reason for Padmapriya is that her Tamil movie with Cheran ‘Pokkisham’ has been selected into this years Mumbai international film festival. The movie, a period love story will be shown in the Indian films section of the festival.

Padmapriya will join the sets of multi-starrer ‘Christain Brothers’ directed by Joshy, by the last week of November. She is also all set to enter Bollywood by next year, as her first Hindi movie, ‘Striker’ will get into theatres by the first half of the year.
