The superstar Dr.Vishnuvardhana is likely to get the prestigious Padmashri award given by the Government of India on the occasion of Republic Day. According to highly placed sources Dr.Vishnu's name has been picked by the Karnataka Chief Minister H.D.Kumaraswamy who is also a film related personality. In New Delhi Dr.Vishnu's best friend Ambarish who is now the information and broadcasting minister would make it easy it is speculated.

When the present Karnataka chief minister H.D.Kumaraswamy's father H.D.Deve Gowda was the Prime Minister of India Dr.Rajkumar got the Dada Saheb Phalke award.
