Aamir Khan and his movie team are all set to make Pakistan go Dhoom!!

Buzz is that ‘Dhoom:3’ (D3) would become the first film of a Khan to release officially release in Pakistan. While other films have been releasing via UK, YRF has done the unbelievable. They have secured a release directly in Pakistan.

Incidentally, D3 becomes the first film to release in Pakistan after the ban. A court order has been passed stating that no Indian film will be censored or released in Pakistan. The order has been issued in response to a petition filed by TV talk show host Mubashir Lucman. It is reportedly the consequence of a conflict among TV channels in Pakistan. The move was allegedly masterminded by one of the channels which did not get the telecast rights of several Bollywood films.

Khans have a special fan following in Pakistan. D3, being the most popular franchise in India, is specially a content that will be liked by 8 to 80 years of age. D3 is the biggest film of this year and the hype around the project is unprecedented. While the marketing has followed 'less is more' formula, the desire to consume the film is all time high.

Confirmed Avtar Singh Panesar - Vice President International Operations in a statement, "Pakistan is a very important and special market for us and we are delighted that ‘Dhoom 3’ will release as planned to coincide with its global release date Friday 20th. The film was cleared without a single cut by the Sindh censor board and we're thrilled about that. We wish to extend our gratitude to the authorities for their support to ensure that business for Producers as well as the local Pakistani Distributors and Exhibitors is protected."
