Rumour mills worked overtime suggesting ‘Pasanga’ & ‘Marina’ filmmaker Pandiraj has falsely promoted himself as the producer of ‘Marina’ and that Balamurugan had lent the filmmaker money for the movie.

The director has come out with an explanation clearing the air on the rumours:

“From the past few days several rumours about me have being doing the rounds. I maintained silence as per my lawyer’s suggestion. ‘Pasanga Productions’ is my banner that has been registered properly with my name with the producers’ council”.

“P Sambasivam who worked as a manager with me for monthly wages misused the rights I gave him and stole my company’s voucher pad and did false transactions. Today they have filed a case that I’m not the producer of Marina. I already paid back their money that I borrowed in front of the court and also publicized them as the co-producers genuinely! They are spreading false news about this whole issue now”, he adds.

“Hundreds of people worked for Marina and everybody is aware of the truth, in fact even tots will laugh at what these two have done now. There’s a land grabbing case in Perambur on Balamurugan and Sambasivam once cheated an assistant director. I even have proofs related to their cases!”

“Are these two people blaming me? Everybody in the industry know I am not behind money, if I was I can take crores as advance for my films. I’d rather go take care of cattle in my native than cheating someone for money”, signs off National Award winning Pandiraj.
