Paradesi only after Pongal?

Looks like Bala is in no hurry to release his forthcoming film 'Paradesi', which has Atharva Murali, Vedhika and Dhanshika in lead roles.

The National Award winning director, who has also produced the film besides wielding the megaphone, originally planned to release the movie by the end of December.

However, it is now said that the film would see the light of the day only after Pongal. "Bala took this decision due to some strategic reasons," sources said.

A period flick, 'Paradesi' is set in pre-independence era. It revolves around the lives of tea estate workers and the travails they undergo. Music is by G V Prakash Kumar.
