Paruthi Veeran confirmed for Feb 23

Ameer’s Paruthi Veeran is confirmed for a release on February 23.

The film featuring Karthi, Suriya’s brother, was in the making for over a year. This rural theme movie is being talked of highly, as Ameer is seen to be a sincere and serious filmmaker. Besides, Yuvan Shankar Raja’s pastoral beats and lilt are already a big hit.

Studio Green is releasing the film.

Priya Mani plays the heroine opposite Karthi.

The interesting irony is that Karthi’s movie is clashing with his sister-in-law Jyothika’s Mozhi which is also slated to hit the screens on February 23.

It must be a tough call for Suriya, perhaps.
