Last year's Miss World Runner-up Parvathy Omanakuttan, has earlier announced her interest for being in movies and has already completed her first Hindi movie. She will also debut in Kollywood shortly with the new movie ÂUma MaheswaramÂ. But for some peculiar reasons she had been keeping away from Mollywood. But the recent news is that she will make her home debut with the big film Major Ravi's 'Kandahar'.
This major Ravi movie based on a true flight hijack, will also feature Amitabh Bachchan for the first time in a Malayalam flick. Featuring Mohanlal as the hero, the other new face to Malayalam, presented by ÂKandahar will be Ganesh Venkatraman.
Parvathy Onamakuttan was originally supposed to make her entry with another Major Ravi flick 'Maadan Kolly', playing the heroine of Prithviraj. This project to be scripted by Sunil Parameshwaran was planned as a horror flick, which was to be put away due to some mysterious reasons.
