Pataas to be remade in Kannada

After it was reported that Raghava Lawrence would star in the Tamil version of the Telugu film Pataas, starring Kalyanram, the latest we hear is the action drama is set to be remade in Kannada. Sources say that Ganesh has been roped in to play the lead in the Kannada version, directed by Manju Swaraj.

Bringing the combo together is producer S.V. Babu, who was quoted as saying, “Ganesh and Manju make a great team after the success of Shravani Subramanya`, and so, I brought them together.” It was also reported that the makers would work on the script to suit the nativity.

Manoj Bajpayee has been approached for an important role in the movie and the talks are on.
