Patil starts ‘Salute’

The police in the past and politician at present MLA B.C.Patil come back after a long hiatus in ‘Salute’. In ‘Salute’ BC Patil is not only acting and producing but has his own life story for the contents of the film done the screenplay and also written the dialogues.

Going through his early life as cop and arrested for taking part in farmers movement and kept in Hindalga Jail in Belgaum B.C.Patil is showcasing his life story till he became an MLA. In the film he rises from an ordinary cop to the position of Home Minister. Ashwini plays the female lead and she is also a tough cop in the film.

People representative now in the Congress-I party B.C.Patil is shooting in Hindalga Jail for a few days and moving onto his home constituency Hirekerur, Haveri and plans to release the film in June this year.

The NICE Company proprietor Ashok Kheni is playing the chief minister role, the former super cop and present MP H.T.Sangliana has accepted to play the Commissioner of police. Well known financier of Kannada cinema K.V.Nagesh Kumar is also in an important role in this film.

Patil is showing the significance of ‘Salute’ made at different levels for different people. Vijay Kaundinya is playing the main villain.

‘Every civilian is a policeman and every policeman is a civilian’ Patil is focusing on this proverb of police department. Kaurava Venkatesh and Ravi Verma are handling the stunts of this action packed cinema.
