Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan, the lively 'Gabbar Singh' pair, are paired together in 'Katamarayudu'. While Power Star plays a Rayalaseema chap with a chivalrous charisma in this Dolly-directed movie, it also stars Yamini Bhaskar (of 'Rabhasa' fame) as the villain's daughter, the movie has script by Akula Shiva.

The news is that it will be shot for about two weeks in Pollachi, where the rustic backdrop will go into serving the scenes in Seema backdrop. Now, Pollachi has a sentimental value for the Power Star, whose 'Gabbar Singh' and 'Attarintiki Daredi' were shot there. Both of these were blockbuster hits. So, Pawan is going to go to that Tamil Nadu village, known for its greenery and cattle market next week.

Produced by Sharath Marar (the 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' producer), it has music by Anup Rubens, who is composing music for a PK movie for the second time after 'Gopala Gopala'.

The film is slated for a grand Ugadi release: On March 29 next.
