Director Perarasu is gearing up for the release of 'Thiruvannamalai'. Starring Arjun, it is touted to be a 'typical' Perarasu film loaded with punch dialogues and stunts that evoke goose bumps.

The encounter scenes between Arjun and Sai Kumar will be electrifying, says Perarasu. 'Whenever I meet my fans they immediately ask me whether my next film will also be fast-paced, will it have punch dialogues and will I do a cameo? ‘Thiruvannamalai’ has everything', he says.

Perarasu plays a cameo as an honest government doctor called Dr Swamimalai in the movie. He delivers loads of punch dialogues appearing towards the climax that might be a feast for his fans.

The movie is about a local cable TV operator, who encounters a corrupt politician in the locality. The fight between them forms the crux that has been narrated in Perarasu style.
