Mohanlal will join the sets of his new movie 'Peruchaazhy ' by the 10th of April. Planned as a comedy feast by director Arun Vaidhyanathan who is debuting into Malayalam with the movie, much of the shoot will happen at U S A. Mohanlal will come up as a brainy politician named Vishwanathan while Mukesh will be a state minister named Raghavan who is always finding ways to downplay the efforts of Viswanathan.

'Thalaiva' fame Ragini Najani' will be heroine of the movie which will also feature Baburaj, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Vijay Babu and Aju Varghese in the other roles. Ajayan Venugopalan is the scriptwriter while Arora from Tamil debuts into Malayalam as music director. Friday Film House produces the movie. Arun Vadhyanathan has earlier directed films like 'Achamundu Achamundu ' in Tamil.
