Playing the role of a physically- or mentally-handicapped person can affect an actor's personality. We recently saw Nagarjuna and director Vamshi Paidipally say that doing Oopiri had made them sensitive towards the difficulties of the differently-abled. In her next film, Kajal Aggarwal is playing a blind girl. It's in the Bollywood film Do Lafzon Ki Kahani, where she is paired up with Randeep Hooda.
The actress reportedly pledged her eyes because she now realizes how painful a life blind people live because of their inability to carry out even basic chores. Kajal feels that by pledging her eyes, she is only doing her bit to better a blind person.
Inspired by Kajal's noble act, her co-star Hooda too has pledged his eyes. Kajal feels that awareness campaigns have to be taken up to inspire the people to donate eyes.
