Indian Prime Minister and US President Donald Trump are expected to have a five-hour long bilateral meeting on various issues of strategic importance and cap it off with Trump`s first ever working dinner at the White House with a visiting foreign head of State since he took office in January 2017.

Defence figures on top of the list of vital topics during the supposedly broad-ranging discussion. The US looks at India as a strong ally in the Asia Pacific region and is expected to strengthen partnership in trade, energy and arms deals, among other things.
