Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to make history by being the first Indian PM to visit Israel in the 70 years since its existence. Many are in praise of the PM for his balancing act in the region.

The PM is maintaining good ties will all the countries in West Asia, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Iran and now Israel. His Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu, is eager to meet his friend` and said, "this is a further expression of the State of Israel's military, economic and diplomatic strength."

Ties with the Jewish nation have been gradually improving as can be seen with the multiple calls back and forth between New Delhi and Tel Aviv, as well as outgoing President Pranab Mukherjee`s visit to the nation, which was reciprocated by the Israeli President.

This will be an open acknowledgement of sorts about the strong bilateral ties between the countries; cooperation is especially strong in defence and agriculture.
