The shooting for Dhanush - Nayantara starrer Yaaradi Nee Mohini would commence amidst tight police protection. Only those with valid identity cards would be allowed to enter the shooting premises, sources close to Kasthooriraja's production house said.

The movie is a remake of Selvaraghavan's Telugu venture Adavare Mataluku Arthalae Verulae.

The shooting for the Tamil version of this film will commence in Prasad Studios in Chennai.

The movie is directed by Jawahar, a former associate of Selvaraghavan.

Interestingly, for Nayantara, this is the first film in Tamil after Vallavan.
