Even before her B-town debut film hits the screens, Pooja Chopra has grabbed it big...

The former Miss India World, who is all set to make her acting debut in Vipul Shah's 'Commando', will be featuring in the BBC World Documentary based on the women of India. The documentary will cover the lives of women who have achieved success after life-long struggle, and will feature victims of acid attacks, domestic abuse, abandonment etc.

And the person behind Pooja's fame and success, is none other than the model-actress’s dearest mom, Neera Chopra. Neera, a mother of two daughters, was bound in an abusive relationship with her husband. Despite having no support system, Neera decided to walk out of the marriage and slug it out to look after her girls.

The BBC documentary will trace Pooja's journey and her mother's invaluable contribution.

Directed by Dilip Ghosh, 'Commando' launches both Pooja and Vidyut Jamwal in lead roles and the film releases on April 12, 2013.
