When it comes to actresses, Laila, who appeared in a silent role in 'Nandha', made her presence felt in a chirpy character in 'Pithamagan' later. Now Bala's 'Naan Kadavul' actress Pooja is set to repeat the act.

If sources are to be believed, Pooja will be seen playing a crucial role in the filmmaker's next venture 'Eriyum Thanal', which already has Atharva and Vedhika in lead roles. "Pooja's role will be of high importance," sources say.

It is said that Bala recently conducted a screen test on the 'Attagasam' and 'Jay Jay' actress. Thoroughly impressed with the outcome, Bala has made a final decision to cast Pooja in 'Eriyum Thanal', sources add.
