Actress Pooja Jhaveri of Bham Bholenath fame has been roped in to play the love interest of debutant Ishaan in Rogue. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film is going to be made simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu. CR Manohar, who earlier made Mahatma is the producer of the film. Initially, the makers have considered Amyra Dastur as the female lead of the film but the talks never materialised owing to her other commitments. Finally the makers have settled for Pooja Jhaveri as the leading lady.

The film was launched in a low profile ceremony in Hyderabad in the last week of November. Recently, the makers have completed the Bangkok schedule and currently the shooting is progressing at brisk pace in Hyderabad.
