The pretty and popular actress Pooja Gandhi has taken up the social service very seriously of late in her free time and she is spending from her remuneration for the HIV AIDS affected children and hearing to the woes of sex workers.

I am moved with the ailing children in Mangalore, Jamahkandi and Bagalkot district of Karnataka. I was upset when I came to know some of the children are finishing their journey on earth because of dearth of care and affection. They are born with no mistakes. On hearing to the woes of sex workers in Karnataka Pooja Gandhi has taken up a major task of providing alternative job for them with ration and place to live.

In the process of meeting the genuine problems of sex workers and HIV AIDS children I gained the satisfaction of doing some help. As of now my film Nee Rani Naa Maharani is ready for release. Aptha, Suhasini, Nee Illadhe and Jai Hindi are at the production stages. The bilingual – Tulu and Kannada has completed 50 percent of shooting. Pooja Gandhi is in for the first time in a historical film.
