Pooja Gandhi of the biggest ever Kannada hit ‘Mungaru Male’ wants a small break from films. Ever since 2006, she has been very busy in Kannada films and completed nearly 25 plus films in her career. Rated as a lucky mascot Pooja Gandhi had a terrible year in 2009. All her films – Anu, Huchchi, Kadiruve Ninagagi, Iniya, Gokula bombed at the box office.

In the beginning of 2010 she had one release ‘Minugu’ and that too did not do well.

She is now planning for a break and strike after some time rejuvenated. Currently she has one ‘Sri Harikathe’ with her sister Radhika Gandhi waiting for release and her first tear jerker ‘Tavarina Runa’ is also complete.

Pooja admits that the series of flops in 2009 has made her to sit and think on quality films that give opportunity for her to perform. To plan things better she hasn’t accepted any films for the last three months.
