Poola Rangadu
You may think that Sunil's producers are taking an uncalculated risk by releasing their movie, Poola Rangadu, for Sankranthi when a host of films starring the biggest mortals are hitting the marquee during January, 2012. That's why you should not forget that Sunil is not less an actor who is capable of surprising those who might have haughtily laughed at the idea of casting him as a male lead, way back some years ago, in Andala Ramudu, which was a hit!
Wanting to be an actor donning all kinds of roles, Sunil has chosen to tread the tough path of playing a lead. He choosy in selecting scripts for playing the male lead and thus we saw only an occasional one coming with him in the shoes of the hero.
Sunil will be the first one who stands to gain from the film's success because he hasn't had a hit as the male lead and Katha Screenplay Darshakatvam - Appalraju only added to his woes.
Directed by Veerabhadra Chowdary, the film stars Isha Chawla of Prema Kavali as the lady lead. Incidentally, Prema Kavali was also produced by Max India of Atchi Reddy, which is producing this movie.
