Poonam Bajwa denies Jiiva backing

Ever since Poonam Bajwa acted with Jiiva in two films ('Kacheri Aarambam' and 'Thenavattu'), there was a buzz that the actor was recommending the actress to directors and producers.

Poonam, who is now back in Kollywood after a break, denies this strongly. "Jiiva is my good friend. But this doesn't mean that he recommends me to bag new offers. I wonder how this rumour is alive for so many years."

The actress, who was seen shaking a leg with Vishal in 'Aambala', is now part of a couple of other projects in Tamil, including Jayam Ravi starrer 'Romeo Juliet'.

"I feel great to be back. There is nothing wrong in dancing for special numbers as almost every heroine has done it," she says.
