Poonam Pandey's website gets hacked by Pakistani hackers

We have seen and heard about many celebrities’ accounts being hacked and revived before. But this one is certainly something else. Pakistani hackers many a times target Indian websites because of the territorial dispute over Kashmir. Recently actress Poonam Pandey is the latest one affected whose website was hacked late evening on 26th January the Republic Day. Poonam Pandey’s website was hacked by some unknown person across the border asking to raise her voice for justice of Kashmir. Pakistani hacker with the code name "Madleets" and below they also wrote Pakistan Zindabad. The actress went to BKC, Bandra Mumbai to meet Senior Inspector Nand Kishore More of Cyber Crime Cell and has lodged the complaint.

Said Poonam Pandey, "I was shocked to know that someone had hacked my website. I registered a complaint in this regard. I want to know who the hacker is and why he maligned me. It is very stressful and hurting as it’s involved a national issue."

As India celebrates its 65th Republic Day, Bollywood celebrities celebrating it with lot of enthusiasm actress Poonam Pandey who in shock next morning when she got to know about her website hacked on twitter from one of her fan. Advocate Prashant Mali Cyber Law Expert Lawyer of Poonam Pandey said, "We have filed a complaint of hacking under Sec 66 of the IT Act 2000 with the cyber crime at Bandra police station they are investigating in the matter."
