Right from his debut movie, Prabhu Solomon proved himself doing serious subjects. However at the same time, the director infused humour to a decent extent even while presenting sensitive films like 'Mynaa'.

And now, the filmmaker who is waiting for the release of his next 'Kumki', is planning to kickstart a full-fledged comedy entertainer soon.

"Prabhu Solomon is currently busy with the script works. Mostly newcomers will play lead roles in this movie. It will be announced after Kumki hits the screens," sources say.

Starring thespian Sivaji Ganesan's grandson and Prabhu's son Vikram Prabhu in the lead, 'Kumki' deals with the caretakers of wild elephants. Lakshmi Menon, who made her debut with 'Sundarapandian', plays the heroine.
