Prabhu Deva after a long gap appeared in the lead role in 'Devi' directed by Vijay opposite Tamannaah which became a sleeper hit. The latest buzz is that Prabhu Deva has signed on to play the lead role in a new movie once again directed by Vijay and produced by Trident Arts .  The shooting is expected to begin in a few weeks time once Vijay completes his 'Karu' starring Sai Pallavi. 

Prabhu Deva is currently playing the hero in 'Yung Mung Sung' and 'Ghulebagavali' opposite Lakshmi Menon and Hansika respectively which are in various stages of production.
