Actors Vishal and Prakash Raj this morning reached the National capital to express their solidarity for the Tamil farmers protest happening in New Delhi for more than a week now.

A group of over 150 farmers from various parts of Tamil Nadu have been protesting against the Central Government''s alleged apathy towards the suicides of farmers and dwindling livelihood conditions of the farming community.

The farmers sought the waiver of loans and a drought relief package of Rs. 40,000 crores from the Central government. Various sections of Tamil people living in Delhi have met the farmers and offered their support. Many youngsters are voicing their support for the protest in social media. Separate Facebook and WhatsApp groups have been created to support the Farmers's strike and to raise funds to support them.

Actor and music director GV Prakash Kumar has been vociferously supporting the strike in Delhi through his social media pages.
