The up-and-coming young music composer G V Prakash is slowly climbing to stardom.

After a scintillating debut in Veyyil, produced by Shankar and directed by Vasanthabalan, Prakash came up with hit numbers in Kireedom and Oram Po.

He is now a busy man scoring music for several big projects which includes Silambarasan's Kalai, Dhanush starrer Polladhavan and Prakashraj's production venture Vellithirai.

Kalai has lyrics penned by Vaali. For a rap song, director Tharun Gopi has written the lyrics. Silambarasan and Suchitra have sung the pacy number. Madhushree has sung one song besides the audio contains a theme music.

Quite typical to the chemistry between Yuvan and Simbu, Prakash seems to have struck a right chord with the actor. In Vellithirai, Prakash has composed music for songs. Noted playback singer, Lucky Ali, Naresh Iyer and Harini had sung the songs.

In director Gandhi Krishna's Ananda Thandavam, for the first time Vairamuthu is writing all the song for G V Prakash's composition. Gandhi Krishna, who directed Chellamay, wields the megaphone.
