Prashanth makes a comeback with an iconic Superstar title

Prashanth a contemporary of Vijay and Ajith is making a comeback after many years in a new neo noir thriller titled 'Johnny' which is the title of Superstar Rajinikanth's critically acclaimed film released in 1980 directed by Mahendran.

The new 'Johnny' is the remake of the Hindi flick 'Johnny Gaddar' in which Prashanth and Prabhu reprise the roles of Neil Nitin Mukesh and Dharmendhra from the original.  The film produced by Thiagarajan and directed by Vettri Selvan has Sanchitha Shetty playing the female lead while Anandaraj, Kalairani and Devadarshini are also in the cast.  The film is fast nearing completion.
