Pratinidhi is being remade as Ko-2 in Tamil. It stars Bobby Simha (whom we recently saw in Sundeep Kishan's 'Run'), who has not had any noteworthy releases after his acclaimed acting as 'Assault' Sethu in Karthick Subbaraj's Jigarthanda - a role that fetched him a National Award. Bobby is reprising Nara Rohith in this political thriller.

The political thriller Ko-2, starring Bobby Simha and Nikki Galrani (of Krishnashtami and Malupu fame) in the lead roles is ready for release and the team are looking for a date (May 13) before the Tamil Nadu elections as the subject focuses on contemporary politics, including the controversies surrounding Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC) and corruption related to flood relief activities.

Produced by Elred Kumar and directed by Sarath the film has Prakash Raj playing the CM. He is reprising Kota Srinivas Rao. Karunakaran, Nassar, Mayilswamy, Bharath Reddy and John Vijay are part of the cast.

With Prakash Raj playing a meaty role and a non-hero chosen to play the kidnapper, the film seems to have some nice moments in store.
