Prayanam

Journeys are one of the integral part of many people and sometimes, these journeys also form the turning points of their lives for career or personal reasons. Now, here is one movie that is being deemed as a promising entertainer along with an interesting backdrop.

The film is `Prayanam' and this has Manchu Manoj Kumar as the hero while a new beauty Harika will be his leading lady. The entire story revolves around 5-6 characters and the highlight among them happens to be Brahmanandam who will be seen in the role of `Tigerman'. The film is directed and produced by Chandrasekhar Yeleti and this marks the debut of Mahesh Shankar as the music director in Telugu. As the title indicates, the film is done mostly on the backdrop of the Malaysian airport and the story goes that the hero is returning to India after his holidaying along with his friends and at the same time, the heroine completes her education and is coming to India.

The hero falls in love with the heroine there and though he is known for his impatience and highly energetic nature, he pretends to be a rather mild and thinking kind of guy just to impress the girl. Whether he manages to win her heart or not forms the essence of the movie.

The film is being made under the banner of Aryaki Arts and the cinematography is by Sarvesh Murari while Ananth Sriram has given the lyrics. The makers say that the film is more of a breezy entertainer and there are no stressful moments at all.

The element of comedy is high and it is something that has to be sat back and enjoyed. With Yeleti at the helm, the technical values of the film are quite high and the audio release was done in a unique way by putting up the songs on the site directly so that no piracy can be done. Reports about the album have been good and the film is slated to be of a shorter duration than the regular Telugu flicks.

This one is an important one for Manoj as his comeback venture `Nenu Meeku Telusa' could not yield the desired results. However, his penchant to try something different is appreciable and with a talented technical team and an interesting storyline, the film should do well.

India glitz wishes `Prayanam' a journey of success at the box office.
