Balaji Sakthivel of Premisthe fame is back with Premalo Padithe, to be released in May. Being brought to Telugu audience by Suresh Kondeti, this is the story of two couples. While one pair belongs to the lower pyramid, the other pair is well-heeled. How these two couples cross their paths forms the crux of the story. The director was inspired by a real-life incident that happened in the North. "When I read the story in a newspaper, I was almost scorched by it. Though the climax is inspired by that real incident, I spun the story backwards," he says.

What about the film's highlights? The film stars newcomers in key roles, but we have to watch out for their moving performances. "Everyone is saying that I have made a good film. Prasanna, who scored the music for Smile Pinky, an Oscar winner, has breathed life into the film with this BG score. The tension it creates will have you watch the film sitting edge-of-the-seat."

Sakthivel is not the one who prefers to write a story sitting in air-conditioned rooms. "I like to travel a write when I am penning a script. There are a hundred stories at the market place. If only we care to observe them, we could interweave reality in each scene," he adds.

Premisthe's climax haunted his producer, director Shankar, for days on. Looks like Premalo Padithe has got a terrific climax in store too.
