Actor Nivin Pauly is the top hero in Malayalam film industry with three back to back super hits. Film buffs may remember that he has acted in the film 'Neram' which released in 2013 as a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual and both the versions turned out to be super hits.

Now the 'Premam' star is all set to make a comeback in Kollywood. He will be acting in the Tamil remake of critically acclaimed super hit Kannada flick 'Ulidavaru Kandanthe' directed by Rakshit Shetty. The Tamil remake will be directed by Gautham Ramachandran a former associate of director Mysskin and Nivin Pauly will reprise the lead role played by Rakshit in the original.

Going by the words of Gautham we cannot consider the Nivin Pauly's comeback film as a proper remake as he claims to have worked on a the script for more than nine months in order to tweak it according to the sensibilities of Tamil audience. Gautham also revealed that the perfectionist Nivin Pauly was extensively involved in the scripting process.

We can expect official details about the cast, crew, title and commencement of the project very soon.
