For Nakul starrer 'Naradhan', it was Santhanam who was initially approached for the title role. However, since he became busy as 'hero', director Naga Venkatesh roped in Premgi Amaran.

"Premgi was initially apprehensive about taking up the role, as it was a meaty one. However, I can now say that Premgi has outperformed Santhanam. As they say 'Naradhar kalagam nanmaiyil mudiyum', the film is about an issue raked up by Premgi which leads to so many problems before coming to an happy ending."

Nakul, Nikesha Patel and Sruthi Ramakrishnan play the lead roles, while Radharavi, M S Bhaskar, Mayilsamy, Madhumitha and Pandu are also there. Music is by Manisharma. Shooting is over and the film is expected to release soon.
