Tamil flick 'Guru En Aalu' is releasing as 'Preyasi' in Telugu soon. This movie stars Mamta Mohandas, Madhavan and Abbas in the lead. D Balaji from New Dreams Creations banner bought the Telugu rights of this film. Comedian Vivek plays an important role in this movie. This love entertainer released in Tamil two years ago, in 2009.

Selva directed the film and Srikanth Deva composed music for it. The dubbing work of this movie is complete and the final copy is ready for release. The producer informed that he intends to release it in the first week of May.

Though no one even knows about the Telugu version of this film, the producer claims that the Telugu audio got good response. This movie marks the re-appearance of Mamta Mohandas on the Telugu screen. She was last seen in Nagarjuna's Kedi that released in early 2010. It was a box office disaster. Mamta later suffered cancer and had to undergo chemotherapy to come back to normalcy and had to stay away from films.
