The story of Padmakumar and Prithviraj is the best example for how devoted a director can be with his hero. Padmakumar has already made three films with Prithviraj in the lead.

All the three films were adjudged by the viewers as good cinemas. All the three started to good initials. But after two weeks all the initial pull to the theatres faded off and the three films were marked out as either a flop or average.

The latest from the duo Vaasthavam was opined as the best from them. But the film is still finding it hard to find the right audience and in many centres the film has been called off.

Even in major centres the film is finding packed houses only on holidays. Many trade analysts reason it as the lack of support to the lead star of the movie, Prithviraj.

But Padmakumar will not agree to this finding. He himself believes that there is some foul play associated with the distribution and theatres that is working against the actor.

And so he is planning the fourth film, to take a chance once again with Prithviraj. Scripted by the same scriptwriter of Vaasthavam - Babu Janardhanan, the film is titled as Pathiramanal.

This film also will be produced by the same production team of Vaasthavam, i.e. Sreechakra films. Anyway, better luck this time, Padmakumar.
