Though not much seen in Kollywood screens since Maniratnam's 'Ravanan', young star Prithviraj still denies to be in lesser projects in Tamil. The actor whose only current agreement in Tamil is for the big Rajnikanth film 'Kochadaiyan', has refused to be in the Tamil remake of Traffic'. The makers of the movie which is produced by Radhika Sharathkumar was trying to cast Prithvi in the role that Anoop Menon has done in the original, but the actor has decided not to be in the film due to his date clashes. Prithvi has already given dates to seven new Malayalam films and also have much of the parts of his Hindi movie 'Ayya' to get completed. The actor is currently in the sets of Deepan's 'Hero'.

Meanwhile, the remake of Traffic will have an interesting cast lines with Sharathkumar leading the list, though the only person retained from the original cast in the remake is Ramya Nambeeshan.
