Prithviraj's unique contribution for Chennai rain victims

Actor Prithviraj is a top hero in Malayalam film industry and he is a well known actor in Kollywood too.His last film in Tamil was director Vasanthabalan's period flick 'Kaaviyathalavaivan'.

While many Malayalam actors are contributing various relief materials for the flood affected Chennai,.Prithviraj and the team of his upcoming film has done their part in a unique way.

The audio release of Prithviraj's upcoming film 'Pavada' directed by G.Marthandan has been conducted as a low-key offer with just 25 members close to the film's unit. The producer of the film Maniyan Pillai Raju confirmed that the limiting the number of guests and not conducting the audio release as a glitzy affair was a conscious decision as the team wanted to save the expenses to be incurred on audio release and contribute it to Chennai flood relief measures.

Prithviraj who said that he spent a lot of childhood time in Chennai has many friends in the city. He said he has been in touch with actors here about the coordination of relief distribution by Nadigar Sangam.

In the event, Actor-director Lal, who has acted in quite a few Tamil films has donated Rs.1 Lakh for rain and flood relief works in Chennai.
