The Tamil actress Priya is making debut in Kannada film 'Karodpathi' in editor turned actor turned director Nagendra Urs. Nagendra Urs is close relative of national fame Suresh Urs. Well known comedy hero of Kannada cinema Komalkumar is the counterpart for Priya.

Priya is making debut in Kannada and she has a very nice role in this comedy filled role. 'Karodpathi' has a caption below the title – 'Ardha Tea one Bun' (meaning half Tea and one Bun).

Nagendra Urs has made one round in Tamil as actor cum director in the past is directing the Kannada film. Komalkumar says he has not done this kind of role in his 80 plus films so far.
