Priyanka Chopra wanted a clean "Babli Badmaash"

Priyanka Chopra who recently topped the poll for a popular website’s Woman of Substance is taking her title seriously and has ensured her professional decisions have been equally socially responsible.

The actress who shot for a special appearance song titled "Babli Badmaash" for Balaji's ‘Shootout at Wadala’ ensured that song carried no titillating moves or vulgar lyrics - In terms of costume, Priyanka personally took interest in the styling to ensure that there was no skin-show.

Confirming this producer Ekta Kapoor said, "Priyanka was particular about her appearance. She was involved in any way she could be. Our idea was to come up with a song that even children can enjoy. ‘Babli badmaash’ has a sexual undertone, but we have ensured that it isn’t crass while still maintaining the naughtiness."

Adding that, "Talking of the designing aspect Ekta Kapoor also added, "Priyanka, along with costume designer Manish Malhotra and director Sanjay Gupta racked their heads and it was then when Sanjay finally suggested that Priyanka look could be influenced by Mr Amitabh Bachchan’s retro style (from his hit song in Yaarana, 1981)."

The song that pays tribute to the iconic 80’s is already a huge hit on the social media front - receiving an unprecedented number of views minutes after its upload on Youtube.
