It's a case of producer Charan over-ruling actor Charan. Wondering what it is about? The news is that since Ram Charan is busy supervising the pre-production works of his father's 150th film, he has expressed his inability to make it to the schedule that was to start the other day. In fact, the aforementioned schedule of the Surendar Reddy film has been deferred till June 3, as per some reports.

As we reported yesterday, VV Vinayak's Katthilantodu is scheduled to take off from June 6. So, on the face of it, Charan as the producer of this ambitious film, is fulfilling his responsibilities as a matter of priority. Perhaps, the schedule of his Thani Oruvan remake can wait. The fact that its producer is a Mega family member, Allu Aravind, is only helping the matters. Since Megastar Chiranjeevi's 150th film is most prestigious and Charan can't afford to lower the guard, he is understandably doing the mission as a matter of priority.

With the latest schedule getting deferred by more than a score days, is an imminent postponement of the film's release expected? Perhaps. While the film was said to lock horns with Janata Garage from day one, the Cherry film may be pushed to September, after all.
