Producer Surinder Kapoor passes away

Yet another celebrity left for heavenly abode...

Hardly has Bollywood overcome the recent demise of Saif Ali Khan's father, the industry was in for another shock....

Noted producer Surinder Kapoor - the father of Boney, Anil and Sanjay Kapoor - passed away on Saturday evening. Aged 86, Surinder reported to have died of massive cardiac arrest at his Lokhandwala residence in Andheri.

Surinder is well-known for his productions namely 'Woh 7 Din', 'Pukar', 'Mr India', 'Judaai' and 'No Entry' among others. A winner of L V Prasad Phalke Award, he had also been the president of the Film and Television Producers Guild of India from 1995 to 2001.
