Actor, vegetarian and Miss India Universe 2007,Puja Gupta, is all set to wear an outfit made of veggies for PETA India's next pro-vegetarian ad campaign.

The outfit that Puja, who made a sensational Bollywood debut in F.A.L.T.U., will be wearing has been chosen from an online contest for fashion design students that was hosted on PETAIndia.com and has been sketched by student Namrata Thole of Sophia Polytechnic.

The outfit will be put together by stylist Aastha Sharma and ace photographer Rohan Shrestha would be shooting this ad.It is estimated that each vegetarian saves the lives of approximately 100 animals each year.

Vegetarian food is not just a treat for your taste buds – it is great for your health, too. While animal products contribute to cancer, heart disease, obesity and many other killers,a vegetarian diet will make us healthier.

With the right food selections, you can have clearer skin, lose weight permanently, prevent heart attacks and even reverse existing heart disease.

Recently the United Nations issued a report stating that a global shift toward a meat-free is essential to combat the worst effects of climate change.

"I would like to tell my fans that if you love animals, the best thing that you can do for them is to stop eating them," says Puja. "A vegetarian diet is the single best thing that you can do for the animals, your own health and the health of the planet." She concludes

Puja will be joining celebrities like Pamela Anderson, Maggie Q, Alyssa Milano, Cloris Leachman and Alicia Mayer who have sported veggie outfits for PETA or its affiliates.

This year Puja Gupta will be seen in Shortcut Romeo directed by Susi Ganeshan opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh and Go Goa Gone with Saif Ali Khan, Vir Das, kunal Khemu and Anand Tiwari.
