Puri Jagannadh was recently embroiled in an imbroglio with three of his distributors of Loafer. After complaining to the police about their alleged manhandling, Puri was in the middle of a controversy when the police slapped serious charges against the distributors. Meanwhile, Puri is unfazed and is readying himself up to start shooting Kalyan Ram's untitled film in the month of May.

It's learnt that even as the controversy was raging, with the distributors going to the media with counter-allegations, the level-headed Puri kept his focus on the script work. Of course, the mental peace is apparently courtesy Bangkok, his second home.

To be produced by NTR Arts, the film will be launched with a formal puja ceremony in May and the shoot will kick-start within a few days.
