Already an established writer, actor and director, R Parthipan has turned a singer now. The multitalented personality on Wednesday crooned for a film titled 'En Peyar Kumarasamy'.

'Vanapudai Magalir Sollum...' are the lyrics from this song crooned by Parthipan. Penned by Rathan Chandrasekar, who is also the director of the film, the song was set to tune by music composer Thashi.

Says the director, "Parthipan has a unique voice and I felt that it would be apt if he sings this particular song. I approached him and he immediately gave his consent. I am indebted to him."

Produced by Thirunallal Films, 'En Peyar Kumarasamy' has newcomers Ram and Andhra Biswas in lead roles. "The number crooned by Parthipan will be shot in and around Kodaikanal," informs Rathan Chandrasekar.
