For a brief period versatile actor Ananthnag was not heard in the media. His films in the last year were super hit. Godi Banna Sadarana Maikattu` has created a small social revolution. Now the comedy dose of Ananthnag is coming out from Hottegaagi Genu Battegaagi` film of state award winning director for Kabbaddi Kannada cinema Narendra Babu. Babu was Indra Babu in biopic Santheyalli Ninta Kabhira` in which Ananthnag was in the role of Ramananda` mentor of Kabhira played by Dr Shivarajakumar.

With script work ready director Babu has roped in beautiful looking Radhika Chetan of Rangitaranga and U Turn` super hit films for a major role. The film Hottegaagi Genu Battegaagi` (song line of Sri Purandaradasa) revolves around only two characters in comedy dose as major element.

This film is produced by Colors of Anekan Sudarshan, Ramamurthy and Iranna. Famous Hindustani singer Ramachandra Hadapad is scoring music for the first time. PKH Doss is cameraman.
